Anyone figure out how this will work? From the gameplay videos it looks like it doesn't do much, thats how I like it to.

Gun dose 10 damage. Armour has DT of 8. Gun dose 2 damage. Think of DT as a water dam. If the damage (The water) doesn't reach over the DT (Dam) nothing happens
More than I, if truth were told,
Have stood and sweated hot and cold,
And through their reins in ice and fire
Fear contended with desire.

Agued once like me were they,
But I like them shall win my way
Lastly to the bed of mould
Where there's neither heat nor cold.

But from my grave across my brow
Plays no wind of healing now,
And fire and ice within me fight
Beneath the suffocating night.

What? Of course there is. Use a better/different gun! It's not like DT is applied to all types of damage. Like Power Armour might have a DT of 20 against small guns but only 10 against plasma and 5 against lasers. There's no more universal damage as it was in Fallout 3

Well that's you. Do you really want to run around in Power Armour and be gunned down by 15 raiders armed with 10mm Pistols and a few Assault Rifles? Not me nor many, many others.

Also: DT was the most missed feature and the most asked for feature after Fallout 3 came out. Even the newbies want it and they hardly know what it is.

Well TBH even if you don't go over the threshold, 20% still gets through. Which BTW isn't that much. If you do 10 damage 20% is 2. And the enemy has like 250 HP, not a particularly bright idea. Just tossing numbers around.

I like the fact(s) that...

-You only get a perk every two levels,
-The enemies are actually hard and require skill to defeate,
-The world is way more interesting than F3.

I'll think of more later I'm sure.

Yes you can. I killed a Young Deathclaw and a Deathclaw. The Deathclaw took about five-ten minutes and a hundred rounds or something

To be fair pk, new vegas has more quests in it. Plus it has more things from the originals. Though I am sure Bethesda will hopefully see whats good in New Vegas and put it in F4, as well as fix some other stuff in it.
